Registering your group is a great way to
get free promotion and give away items. There are several
places where you should register your group.

Benefits include free stuff and
discounted products.
- Attend local MSDN events in your area. Introduce
yourself to the staff. Ask if you can take some leftover t-shirts,
CDs, etc. for your group.
- Contact Ellen Whitney at CoDe Magazine for free
copies.
- Contact your local Microsoft district office.
They may be willing to get you games, etc to raffle off. US offices

- Register with Microsoft Mindshare. You should get
a quarterly mailing with lots of stuff.

on its books.
- Other tools vendors may offer discounts too.
- One VFP User Group was able to get a reduced
price on VFP 7.0 upgrades because they pooled orders from several
members.
